What changed
Google announced an unusual two-part core update, explaining that not all of the intended improvements were ready in June so a second release would follow in July. It warned that some sites might see a change in June that partly reversed in July. The June portion completed on 12 June 2021.
Timing
Rollout began 2 June 2021. Google declared it complete on 12 June 2021, 10 days later. Rankings typically remain unstable for the whole rollout window, so measurements taken inside it are not a reliable read on the outcome.
