Final announced reviews update before Google made the reviews system continuous and stopped announcing releases.
What changed
Google ran a reviews update from 8 November to 7 December 2023, overlapping with the November core update. At the same time Google said the reviews system would move to regular, ongoing improvement and that it would no longer publish announcements for individual reviews updates. From that point review content quality was assessed continuously rather than in discrete releases.
Timing
Rollout began 8 November 2023. Google declared it complete on 7 December 2023, 29 days later. Rankings typically remain unstable for the whole rollout window, so measurements taken inside it are not a reliable read on the outcome.
