24-hour view added to Search Console performance reports
Search Console gained a near-real-time 24-hour performance view with data delayed by only a few hours.
What changed
Google added a 24-hour view to the Search Console performance reports for Search, Discover and Google News, showing hourly data with a lag of a few hours rather than the previous two-day delay. It made it practical to check the immediate effect of a publication or a site change. Google noted that the new view uses a different processing pipeline, so small discrepancies with the older reports are expected. Only the month of announcement is documented here.
Timing
Rollout began 1 December 2024. No completion date was announced. Rankings typically remain unstable for the whole rollout window, so measurements taken inside it are not a reliable read on the outcome.
